Tips for Saving Big Money On Entertainment

So, you know that there are a lot of issues that come up with money, and many times, you need to make sure that you’re doing what you can in order to save money. But, there are some things that you can do

  1. Cable TV subscription: Alright, friend. If you still have cable or satellite TV and it’s just background noise, please consider doing something different (radio, internet, etc).
  2. CD’s and the stereo you play them in. Seriously, do you still use CD’s? Did you know you can get an MP3 player and take it with you everywhere? Best part? If you only like one song on a CD- you only have to buy one song. Then, companies like Apple and Amazon have a number of unique and inexpensive items that you can use as a stereo, or you can get Bluetooth speakers so that you can really enjoy whatever you’re listening to.
  3. Eating Out. It kills almost half of an American’s food budget, and without it, our food budgets would be at least 20% less. So, if you eliminate (or even reduce) the amount of food that you are eating out, you will find that you can save a lot of time, effort, and cash on the things that you are getting – and that can be a big deal for your entertainment budget as well.
  4. Your Gas Guzzler: Why, in a world where there are so many options for high efficiency vehicles that you can enjoy, do you still have a Hummer? Seriously, get rid of your gas guzzler and get something more gas efficient. Now, if you have a family and need a van or SUV to get everyone around, then consider investing in something smaller to use when you’re going places alone.
